Do Timberlands come up small or big?

Ok im well scared coz I ordered some timberlands online becuase no stores in our shopping mall does them, but do they come up small or big?
I have tiny feet and sometimes i fit into a 3 and sometimes i fit into a 2.
I ordered a childs size 3, thinking if it were a little big it would be better than having a boot that is too small!
But i dont want them to be miles to big :(
