Eating the same thing every day, for every meal?

Will it make you lose weight? I have heard that if you eat JUST carbs, and not mixing them with protein, it will make you lose weight. For example, you can eat 10 baked potatoes, but as long as you don't mix them with ANY protein, it will make you lose weight. Or, you could eat 10 steaks, and lose weight as long as you don't mix them with any carbs. The reason why this is, is because it's hard for your body to break down carbs and proteins. It's easier for your body to digest just one thing, and you will digest it much faster.

Anyway, I think it will work, because this woman on Freaky Eaters was eating 6,000 calories a day in sugary foods, and she was an average size for her age. She wasn't obese or anything. Someone that eats 6,000 calories a day would definitely be obese if it was of many different foods.

So, will it work? Do you think it will work? I don't care if it's healthy or not. Just please answer if you think it will work or not. It seems like a pretty good deal. Please no rude comments. Thanks to all the answers in advance!<3

The body digests sugar the fastest because it is close to the sugar energy the body uses.
Fortunately with a shole mess of sugar the body produces insulin to counter act that high level ingestion. But with high insulin comes sluggishness
Potatoes and breads are more complex forms of sugars so the body takes longer to process them(but it is done at a more even rate, therefore no sugar burst, but a marathon)
Meats is where the body uses more energy to extract the protein out of the meat. You actually burn calories. But there is very limited nutrition in just eating meat. No vitamins that the body needs for overall health.
Just eat like your mom fed you using smaller portions. Meat potatoes and vegies. And work out-not watching TV or the computer monitor(which is basically the same thing) Get active- walk to work instead of taking the car, do stuff physically moving legs arms and torso.

That is the magic.
